Classification-Driven Retention

Boldon James let users classify emails by sensitivity but Enterprise Vault had no way to honour that label at retention. The organisation needed each classification to map automatically to the correct retention category without changing anything in the user's workflow.

We built a custom filtering solution that linked each classification directly to the correct retention category. The result was fully automated and completely transparent to users.

Real-Time Replication for Disaster Recovery

EVNearSync, used for replicating the archive data, had reached end of life. The client had a 20 server Enterprise Vault environment with no supported replication path to its DR site. A gap in disaster recovery coverage was unacceptable.

We deployed Carbonite Availability by OpenText to deliver continuous byte level replication with item level verification. EVNearSync was retired without any gap in coverage throughout the transition.

300TB Migration to Microsoft 365

A government body needed to retire an ageing Enterprise Vault estate holding over 300TB of archived mail. The migration had to preserve chain of custody throughout and deliver a full audit trail at government compliance standard.

We ran a phased migration to Microsoft 365 using a specialist third party tool. Item level verification was maintained throughout and the compliance team received the complete audit trail they needed at handover.
